About Michael
Hello there my name is Michael Cardenas. I am a Sensei and have obtained a 3rd degree blackbelt in Shito-ryu at Busho Kai Martial Arts and Fitness in Mansfield, Texas. I have been doing Martial Arts for 14 years since I was 6 years old and I specialize in Kata, Sparrings, Weapons and conditioning training. I have competed on the competition team and have traveled to numerous regional and national tournaments. I have been teaching karate to other students and adults at Busho Kai Martial Arts and fitness for a few years and I always return during summer to continue my training. I am always willing to help and aid in training to better prepare you with self defense techniques and also to install respect and discipline that i have learned from my instructors.
I do not have a studio but I will come to you to help you better your knowledge and skill. I do not run my own program but I offer assistance and training to students that are taking martial arts elsewhere and are looking for outside help.
I was invited to the karate school for buddy day when i was 6 years old and ever since then I have been practicing martial arts.
I have 14 years of experience and a 3rd degree blackbelt in Shito-Ryu.

All kinds of students. I work with any student that is willing to work.
