About Mohammad Akmal

I am excited to introduce myself as your tutor. With a solid educational background and a passion for teaching, I am committed to helping you reach your academic goals. I hold a degree in Science Education specialised in Biology from UiTM Puncak Alam and being a pre-service teacher for a several months. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating engaging, student-centered lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective. As a tutor, my approach to teaching focuses on creating an engaging, supportive, and effective learning environment tailored to the individual needs of pre-service teachers and students from standard 1-6 and form 1-4. My approach to teaching a 1-hour and 30-minute session begins with a diagnostic assessment to gauge the student’s current level, followed by ongoing evaluations through quizzes and discussions, with feedback and strategy adjustments as necessary. My structured lesson planning features clear objectives aligned with curriculum standards and a session breakdown that includes a 10-minute introduction, 50 minutes of focused instruction with interactive methods, 20 minutes of hands-on practice, and a 10-minute review and Q&A. I implement active learning strategies, such as interactive teaching and practical applications, to engage students and stimulate critical thinking. Differentiated instruction adapts methods to various learning styles and integrates technology for dynamic lessons. Constructive feedback and regular reflection sessions encourage self-directed learning and a growth mindset. This structured, student-focused approach creates an engaging and effective learning environment that promotes academic growth and confidence.
