First, we focus on the stumbling blocks. If there is a fundamental misunderstanding of a concept, we start over from scratch to ensure that there will be no basic errors later down the road when we learn more difficult concepts. Then, we review the material that they learn everyday in school. Not only will I focus on learning the lesson itself but also crucial study skills that will set the student up for success. In regards to college admissions, I am now a student at the University of California, Berkeley, having achieved numerous accolades over my high school career and was accepted into multiple highly selective schools. I hope to use my experience to help you achieve the same successes as well.
Look for someone who has actually taken the class or exams that you want to be tutored in. Not someone who has a broader knowledge of a subject, which will not aid you in your studies.
