About Amy
As of the end of June, I will have successfully achieved my TEFL Certification with Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). I hold a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish, and have two years of experience working in the field of refugee resettlement. My tutoring experience includes 2 years with a middle school student, and my volunteering experience includes 2+ years of practicing English conversation with English Language Learners. I currently volunteer at Trellus, a nonprofit based in Chicago, as a classroom assistant for a Level 0 ESL class. I'm passionate about meeting people from across the globe, and I want to provide a comfortable and growing environment for you to focus on improving your English skills through conversation and interactive activities!
