About Norma
Since 2008 I taught Adult Basic Education to adults who were incarcerated. I also taught English as a Second Language to incarcerated adults from foreign countries. I have experience and maturity in teaching. I bring energy and endurance to help my students learn to speak, read, and write American English. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I am a tutor/teacher, not a scribe, nor do I do homework for college students. I do not have a Masters degree.
I give individualized attention to my students by customizing my lesson plan to student needs.
I am a student centered teacher.
My goal is for my students to progress to their personal goals with minimum resistance.
