About Megan
I was a coach for years and went back to school to be a teacher. I love watching students get "light bulb moments" and seeing them feel more confident in their learning.
10 years of teaching In kindergarten through 3rd grade. I have taught reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. I have been trained in the science of reading.

I use meaningful assessments to meet a student exactly where they need to be and to measure growth. Once assessments are complete I use engaging instruction and curriculum to teach students and help them grow.
I have worked with a wide range of personalities and behaviors.

I have been tutoring a 2nd grader this summer who was having with place value and money. After just 2 sessions she was singing songs I taught her to help remember them. She grew confident and even excited to keep learning more math.
