About Valerie
I offer individualized reading and writing instruction for students, 4-12. I have been a tutor for over 10 years and have a masters degree in Education from Rutgers Uniersity. My tutoring style stands out in that I teach skills and empower my students to believe in their academic abilities. In addition, all tutoring sessions include time management strategies.
As I enjoy the subject matter, I am an avid writer and reader, I sharing my enthusiasm for with my stents so they too feel confident in their abilities with the written word. I find it empowering and studied education so that I could play a role in empowering others.
