About Brigette
I have teaching experience for three years with ELA in middle school Level as a permanent subsitute teacher. I have taught poetry, argumentive essay writing and research writting. I love to work one-on-one with students because I am able to closely see there areas of strengths and their weaknesses.
I started in a program called Blue Engine after graduating college. It provided 2-3 teaching assistants in the classrooms. I was a teaching assistant in this program for two years. Both years, I worked with other teaching assistants and a lead teacher in two high schools. In my second year, I went into Relay Graduate School of Education for a masters degree of teaching.
I have had three years of experience working in a classroom, majority middle school. I went to graduate school to get a master degree of teaching

I usually like to do an icebreaker, get to know me lesson from the start and have them do a survey just to get to know them and their academic goals.
I have worked with students with needs as well as high achiving students. Most of these students have been in the middle school level.
