About Alina
I recently recieved my degree in English from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, and have tutored while going to school! I have experience with assisting college and high school-aged students with their work. I specialize in essays, editing, brainstorming, and reworking those sentences that just don't feel quite right.
There are few things like the sense of accomplishment you get when an assignment is finished, and I get that feeling with every person I help! I enjoy guiding students to do the best they can with their English assignments so that they can feel that the work they've produced is something to be proud of.
I have my Bachelor's in English! I've taken classes ranging from Shakespeare to post-colonial literature, so I have a nice range of works to draw from. My professors pushed me to improve with every paper, and I want to do the same! I also worked in my school's learning resource center, assisting my fellow students with brainstorming papers or giving them a final lookover to catch any stray errors.

I like to chat for the first session, learning your personal learning style, figuring out what assignments are coming up, and what it is you specifically need help with so I can determine if I am the best fit for you as a tutor. I also walk through the upcoming assignments with you so I can weigh which need to be prioritized first, if applicable.
The brunt of my experience is with college students, ranging from freshmen to seniors. I have worked with high schoolers as well, but not as often as college students.
