About Amanda

I have worked with students in Kindergarten through College. I was a TA for two semesters in college and currently work in a library. I have many teachers in my life and therefore up to date on the current expectations on students.

I love helping people reach their full potential and fall in love/back in love with reading and writing. (I also love showing people that Shakespeare really isn't THAT boring)

I'm a college graduate with a BA in English. I have Tutored others in english, writing, reading, study skills, and literature since I was in 10th grade. I also TAed in college for 2 upper level Shakespeare courses.

About the lesson

I like to talk to them to get a base line of where they are and what their interest lies. Then move on to where they are having issues with the subject in question.

Know there is not necessarily a wrong answer when it comes to literature and interpretation so long as you have the evidence to back it up.
