About Emma
I love helping young children between the ages of 3-8 learn how to read, write, spell, and speak English. I want to see them flourish and succeed in their learning
I got started at the age of 14, working with family friends to help teach their young children.
I worked as a babysitter to family with 3 young homeschooled children who I helped to teach English, reading, writing, spelling, and speech to.

Typically I would like a zoom meeting with the parent or guardian as well as the student present. Because I work with younger kids, the parent or guardian can help me to learn what their child needs help with. After this, the parent or guardian can choose whether to be present at future meetings.
I have worked with children ages 2, 5, and 7. I have experience with ADHD and Autism in students.
My best advice would be to look for the right one. Don't be afraid to have meetings with multiple teachers to try and find one that works for you.

Details
Standard lesson pricing is typically $12 for a half hour session or $20 for an hour long session. For first time meetups, I usually charge $10 for a half hour to get to know each other.
