About Hunter
I enjoy seeing the light in the students' eyes after they are finally able to understand a concept. Helping a student understand a concept, and enjoy learning about the concept is the ultimate goal. I am always excited to meet with my students and walk alongside them as they continue their educational career.
I have been tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school. I began with tutoring elementary school students in English, basic math and social studies. As I progressed into my junior and senior years of high school, I began tutoring students that were taking honors language arts. Once I starting attending college, I expanded my scope of tutoring and began tutoring students that were taking AP Language Arts and AP English Literature.
I graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, CA in 2016, and immediately began my Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Irvine. I graduated from UCI with my Bachelor's of Arts in Social Policy & Public Service with an emphasis in governance and education in June 2020. I am now a first-year Master's graduate student at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA and am looking forward to graduating with my MSW in May 2022.
