About Eugene

- Personal 1 to 1 coaching: I take a lot of pride in working with my students as I know college applications may be daunting and difficult. My style is meant to be personal to help my students best portray their story to college admission boards.

- Behind the Curtain Experience: I have real-world experience on what college admission boards look for in a strong candidate as I've helped conduct applicant interviews for both UC Irvine and UCLA Anderson School of Management.

- Proven Success: During my volunteer time at the College Placement Project, I have a 100% placement rate and have helped students get into every UC school, Cal State School, and a few Ivy League schools.

- Empathy: Above all else, I believe I have empathy for my students. Although I have a great scholastic background I was never the applicant with the perfect GPA or SAT score, what helped me stand apart was my ability to story tell and show admissions committee's why grades and test scores are not the end all be all, WHICH IS TRUE.

What I love most about my work is the chance to work with students who are about to embark on a major step in their life.

Applying to colleges was one of the most stressful experiences I've had to endure, however, having mentors and help throughout the process made it a lot more enjoyable.

I'll always remember those who have helped me in the big moments of my life, and I hope I can be one of those figures with my students, not only during the application process but throughout their successful careers.

- BS in Political Science w/ a minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine
