Interdoose myself, ask them how long they've been playing & what kind of genre's they're interested in playing most , and then tell them a little about myself & experience. After that , sit down behind a kit or a snare and start teaching, .... . all depending on their experience level . For instance, with beginners, I'll first show them the correct way to hold the sticks and then start with Rudiments
