About Ty
I love to perform, record, and teach drums or percussion. With the ability to play many styles of music, I can focus on the topics that the students want to learn while integrating proper technique and theory behind the instrument. Students progress rapidly with the study of basic rudiments and their real world application to songs, making lessons fun and enjoyable all while playing along with their favorite songs. I have been playing drums and percussion for over 15 years now and have a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance form the University of Arizona and a certificate from the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena. Along with my educational back ground, I have played in many different bands spanning genres of classical, jazz, blues, rock, funk, R&B, and pop.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion performance and a certicate in drum set performance.
