About Adam
Words cannot describe the excitement I have for percussion. I've been drumming for almost 15 years, and I'd love to share my passion and knowledge with everyone I can reach, whether it be in-person of over a video chats. I've played concert percussion at a college level and have marching open and world class DCI and WGI groups. I want to help other drummers become the best version of themselves and have the best experience possible. I started back in high school by teaching my brother who was about to start middle school band. After I started college, I became a guest tech for my high school when I was back in my hometown.
I started my journey of drumming at the age of 7. I joined concert band in 5th grade and continued into college. I started learning marching percussion at 13 and continue to this day. I have marched for over 7 years in both open and world class DCI and WGI ensembles.

I like to get a feel of the abilities of my students in the initial meeting and figure out what their goals are and what they want to get out of the lessons. Then I make a personalized lesson plan for each student that aligns with their goals.
I have worked with student ranging from middle school up to the college level.
Make sure your teacher understands the goals you have laid out for yourself and that they always stay open-minded to what their teacher has to offer.
I recently spent my summer marchig with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps playing snare.
