About Stevie

Hi, great to meet you - I'm a professional drummer in the great city of Miami and I'd love to help you reach your goals in performing music. My drumming skills are well-known throughout the community here and the music world - that's why I'm always working! Whether it's in a club, in church, on special corporate gigs or in the studio - I can show you how to reach the same level of professionalism. Hire me for lessons and I'll help you:

When I play drums, I put my heart and my soul into it. After playing a gig or a session, I can walk away knowing that I've put my 100% all into it. People love what I do and that's a huge pleasure for me as well. Overall, for me, being a professional musician is one of the most satisfying things in life.

I've been teaching all my life even since I started playing professionally in my teens.

I have an education in the arts that provided me with a bachelors degree from the famous Miami Dade College, but the real teacher for me has been experience. I've travelled all over the world playing music with all kinds of people. I've been in some of the craziest live shows - you wouldn't believe! (see my pics) Just having been a pro for several decades has given me an education most people never get in a lifetime. Learn from me!

About the lesson

If you're local, I can try to set up a meeting, or we can work virtually over the internet or by phone. During our first call we'll discuss your goals - how I can best help you, and what you want that I can do for you in your music career. Then we'll figure out the best place and time for our lesson, and then we'll take it from there!

All different kinds of people. Here in Miami we have a very diverse population, but they all have one thing in common - they love music!

Make sure the person you select has the life experience to back up what they're teaching you. Remember - anyone can be a technician, but not everyone knows how to apply it in the music business. I do! Check me out ha!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I'd say just figure out what you really want to do with your music. Do you want to learn how to make people happy - or do you just want to learn how to move your fingers? Do you want to impress other musicians - that's great - but is it more important to please the audience? I know how to do both! Learn from me. -Stevie
