About Joanna

Welcome to my studio! I am a professional drummer/percussionist and have 20+ years of teaching experience. I tailor my teaching to each student's needs - whether you're looking for drum lessons playing rock/pop/jazz or a more classical/symphonic approach, I teach it all!

I have a professionally equipped studio with two quality drum kits, timpani, all mallet instruments (and more), and have opened up a handful of spots in my schedule for new students. Please don't hesitate to reach out or visit my website (concealed information) for more info.

- Over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience

- 29 years of performance experience, including performance with elite ensembles and artists

About the lesson

Our first lesson will be an opportunity to assess the student's knowledge and skills. From there, I will tailor our lesson plans to meet the student's needs and priorities.

I have experience with students aged 5-65. All students welcome.

Range in experience from college-bound and majoring in percussion to beginners looking to play casually.
