I choose Cory to teach my little sister drums, because she’s wanted to learn for a long time. I’ve sat in on a few lessons just to ease nerves and I absolutely love what I’ve seen! Cory has a clear set of lesson plans and the ability to pay attention to their students and alter the plans for their skill and learning styles. Over the course of a few weeks I’ve seen my sister go from someone who was really nervous about if she’d even be good at drumming, to someone who has confidence in what she is learning and who practices for hours because she loves it. Cory is skilled at instilling that confidence because they challenge her to learn more and more advanced skills without pushing her to a point where she is too anxious or uncomfortable to try the exercises set before her.
