About COURTNEY
I focus on affordable, healthy options. I also teach you how to simplify your meals while adding tons of flavor. You don't have to break the bank to eat healthy, delicious food if you know the right seasonings to keep on hand and how to match seasonings with food.
I love cooking! It's therapeutic for me and allows me to be creative while making others happy.
I'm known among all my friends and family as "THE cook". Yeara ago they began asking me to teach them my ways and I was always happy to do so. A ose family friend recommended that I start offering classes and the rest is history!
I have been cooking since I was a child. I was raised with some of the most amazing cooks to ever walk this earth. I was raised in a humble family, eating humble food, and learned how simple little steps can take that food to a whole new level.

I like to start by understanding your goals. I want to make sure we are setting the right expectations for this journey. We then spend time auditing your current skills and experience against your desired skills and experience. But most important to the process is to learn to have fun in your kitchen!
I work with all students, though I do have a nack for helping people who have kitchen anxiety overcome their issues in the kitchen. If being in the kitchen makes you feel overwhelmed or anxious, I'm your girl. If you want to learn how to cook without a recipe, I'm your girl. If you want to learn how to be more adventurous and creative in the kitchen, I'm your girl!
You have to have a good rapport with your teacher and feel comfortable asking questions. If they make you feel intimated, they aren't your teacher.
I competed in a well-known national cooking competition and was a finalist up against professionally trained chefs. I'm very proud of that accomplishment!

A 1 hour virtual cooking class is $70. A 90 minute virtual cooking class is $100. Discounts available when purchased as a package.
