About Erika
At Holidays we take pride in customizing services to fit the needs of every client. We offer a variety of culinary services including cooking lessons, catering, personal/private chef services. We also offer personal assistant, home organization, and personal valet services. Our goal is to be of service to our clients and those they care for in just about any way we can. We tailor our programs and services so that stress is decreased, time and convenience increased, and every customer's requirements are not just met, but exceeded.
The thing I truly enjoy most about the work I do is helping people. Showing a single parent how to do meal prep so that they can have dinner ready in thirty minutes each day for the next seven days is personal gratification for me. Working with a family to help them all lead healthy and more organized lives gives me a certain sense of satisfaction. I'm living the credo that by blessing others I am blessed.
After graduating with a degree in culinary arts, I immediately began working professionally in food service. Along the way, I found that there was a greater satisfaction in using my culinary skills and knowledge in a way that helps people, and not as just a means to an end to contribute to the bottom line of a company or corporation. This was never more evident to me than during my tenure as Catering Chef and Culinary Instructor for a program called Culinary Cornerstones sponsored by a charity and community service organization.
As owner and general manager, I have a degree in culinary arts and well over 10 years experience as an Executive Chef. In addition I have more than 5 years experience in teaching culinary skills professionally to both groups and individuals.

Typically we have an initial meeting with the client to assess their cooking level, their goals, and needs. We want to know how we can be of the most service to each customer. From there we can prepare a bid and contract for service. Finally we will schedule our services.
I have worked with groups and individuals of all ages and from every walk of life. I have also worked with families and extended families for repeating services as well as one time events. I have taught at several community centers, in professional kitchens, and in individual homes.

Our pricing system is not standardized as our services are tailored to each customer's needs. It is for this reason that we prepare both a bid (which can be changed and negotiated) and a contract for services. Our contracts include scope of services, specify the period of time, and as well as terms for compensation. We are confident that we have programs to meet every price point.
