About Adrianna

Hello future student, my name is AC and I have been in the food industry for 12 years doing everything from serving tables to bar tending to cooking. I finished my degree in culinary in 2019 and I work as a caterer and meal preparation sous chef. Everyone should know about food, basic meals and sauces just to have a healthy diet. Unfortunately that type of education isn't given to everyone so I would like to share my knowledge with whoever is willing to learn.

I enjoy food because of the reactions people have when they taste and eat things. There is always going to be a need for food and making something that people enjoy is a huge triumph.

I have always loved educating when it comes to anything that I have knowledge to share about. I love to educate myself just for the pleasure of sharing at some point later. I really love to train people at work and teach them about food and methods.

I have worked for 10 years in the industry with 7 of those years being back of house (cook, expo, prep, chef). I finished my BA in Culinary in 2019 and have been working as a chef ever since.

About the lesson

When I meet a new student I like to ask them about the types of foods they like to eat so we can start a plan with those things. I also like to know what types of allergies the student may have or foods they don't care for so we can avoid those. Then we can do some basic easy things just so I can gauge the level of skill and move from there on how we proceed with new items.

I have worked with all different types of people from kids as young as 2 to older adults of all cultures.

Find a teacher that is passionate about what they are doing because that will translate into good lessons and retaining knowledge.

what kind of foods do they want to learn about?
how much time and dedication is the student willing to put forth?
Is the student ready to practice at home?
