It was a Great experience and we liked Joy’s evident passion for food. We liked her inspiring recipes that introduced us to a wide range of ingredients. Joy introduced to recipes that we looked at as hard but she was able to help us get out of our comfort zone. It’s was an all round pleasure to work with Jou.

I enjoyed working with Joiethefoodie because it helped us get through the pandemic and get our minds off it. I liked that I got to learn new skills while having fun. I spent time with friends online and we learned new recipes. She was friendly and patient to make sure we were all able to figure out the instructions. But something I found difficult was that sometimes a person would finish doing the step but everyone else was still doing it so I think you should tell the people who are ready to move to the next step while helping the ones still doing it. overall it was a great experience for us and a productive way to spend time during lockdown.

Amazing teacher and chef. She has the ability to engage any age group. She is able to easily substitute to accommodate various dietary needs during her lessons. Extremely creative! My daughter and I enjoyed our cooking lessons with Joy.

Absolutely the Best Cooking Class we have ever taken! The kids learned to be confident in the kitchen! My 8 year old loves to cook! We were not only taught how to cook, but also the importance of presentation! Chef Joy is Amazing! Can’t wait to experience another class!

Joy is extremely organized and helps the participants plan ahead. Joy not only tells you what ingredients to buy but where to buy them. She understands her audience and their budgets and picks recipes that are easy to make even months after the lesson. She also can quickly tell you what alternative ingredient to use if you don’t have the exact one. She has a wonderful way with kids and they love how approachable, patient and fun she is. I learnt so many tricks to make even dishes she didn’t teach me much more exciting. I would recommend her anytime!
