About Jordana

I will teach you how to cook by relying on your senses to help guide you through the experience of cooking instead of relying on recipes. By learning how to incorporate seasonal vegetables as well as fresh herbs and spices will help your food come alive with nutritional flavor and leave your taste buds wanting more with each bite.You will learn to use a stocked pantry and refrigerator ingredients to inspire and motivate your menus.

As a chef, caterer,private chef and instructor, I am Passionate about integrating health and nutrition coupled with cooking.I have been working as a chef for the last 20 years. I love to infuse flavors and cuisine’s from around the globe in my cooking. Keeping my repertoire versatile and inventive allows me to be a spontaneous, creative and resourceful chef. Havimg worked in schools running hot lunch programs, restaurants, camps retreats and private cheffing, has given me a variety of experience in many different settings. I thoroughly enjoy teaching cooking to people who share the same desire and passion about food.

For the last 20 years I have been working as a chef, Caterer, personal chef and business owner.

About the lesson

I come into students home and discuss cooking goals with them. We go over stocking the refrigerator, pantry, and spices in your home to help you become equipped in the kitchen. We will learn together how to utilize all your senses to help guide you through cooking experiences. You will learn knife skills, seasoning, food pairing, and time management. You will learn how to develop your own recipes in addition to following ones already out there.

Jordana has such grace, patience and talent. She recently taught me how to make soup, and a good variety of soup, at that. I ofcourse knew it would be delicious, because I eat her food a lot and have even had her cater my work events. I could not recommend Jordalicious catering and tutoring with higher enthusiasm.
