About Brian

I have been working with computers and related technology for over two decades in various capacities from my own computer company to a Chief Technology Officer at a large manufacturer, but I missed teaching others more than just training numerous employees on systems and software.

I have experience across multiple programming languages and platforms including Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, Rust, C++, HTML, CSS and even Perl. I have worked with numerous databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Sqlite, Redis. I have designed, developed and/or debugged web, desktop and server applications in both physical and virtual environments on Linux and Windows. I greatly enjoy the challenge of not only learning technologies, but helping others to understand them

I have been teaching in one form or another since I was in high school

I have been in the information technology field in some capacity or another for over two decades and have a multitute of first hand knowledge and experience

About the lesson

I will tailor sessions to the persons current skill level and expierence and work at their pace

I have worked with all ages of people with various skill levels

Classroom education is incredibly important, but first hand expierence can be an invaluable addition to education

I have been able to help a international student be able to get the basics of c++ and I continue to tutor them with their college course

Details

Sessions are typicially one hour in length and usually at least once a week. First session can be longer if needed. Sessions rate is currently $55 for a 1 hour session, but is negotiable
