I have been wanting to study/learn Mandarin Chinese for many years and thanks to the class being offered online, I could participate at this time when my schedule better permits. I have been studying/learning languages for many years and Professor Zhang's Mandarin Chinese class is formidable: the class online is very organized and covers a lot of ground without being overwhelming. Then, the class is supplemented by wonderful audio recordings to assist with vocabulary and other practice. Videos are a resource for further review of the chapters covered in class. And the workbook AND flashcards are the icing on the cake. Bring it all together and it offers a wonderful opportunity to have success with learning this beautiful language.
