I like to review the course work with students prior to detailed questions. This way I can get an overview of what the student has learned and what topics they have difficulty with. I also like to ask the students about their other classes to understand how the student prefers to learn.
I mostly worked with college freshmen who were looking for help with their biology coursework. I also worked with older students with Human Physiology, Biochemisty, Genetics, and Organic Chemistry.
