About Jessica
My favorite part of graduate school was being able to interact with and teach students as a Teaching Assistant for various chemsitry courses. I love being able to help the students learn and succeed.
I've been a TA at Brigham Young University for 6.5 years teaching courses and labs including General Chemistry, Principles of Chemical Analysis, Intro to Bio-Organic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis Lecture & Lab, and Advanced Topics in Analytical Chemistry: Mass Spectrometry.
I have also been remotely tutoring, through video call, two students taking General Chemistry online through Salt Lake Community College starting in June 2020.
I finished my PhD in Analytical Chemsitry December 2017.

Seeing that I enjoyed interacting with students in a TA position, I want to continue with hhelping more students continue their academic journey.
I finished my PhD in Analytical Chemistry in Dec 2017. I enjoyed my Teaching Assistant assignments during my 6.5 years of graduate in various Chemistry courses and labs.
I also was an Adjunct Lab Instructor at Utah Valley University for one semester, teaching twenty students.
