About Katherine
I have taught chemistry for 13 years, with 6 of those years teaching virtually. I have taught AP Chemistry, and Honors Chemistry and enjoy helping students understand the concepts and how they are inter-related. I have many resources and visuals on how to solve problems and help to understand chemistry concepts.
I have taught chemistry for 13 years and currently teach both virtually and in the bricks and mortar classroom. I enjoy getting to know students and being able to help them understand the concepts. It is great to see when the lightbulb turns on a difficult concept or see them take pride in their learning.

When I work with a student it is best to understand the students learning technique and then to also learn about the course they are taking. How is the content being presented, what is being asked of the student. Then we will work together during virtual sessions to go through concepts and problems based on their learning style to help them succeed in the course.
