About Jennifer
I have been tutoring students since I was in the 7th grade so I have lots of experience in working with people with different learning needs and demands. I have recently graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and am thus extremely knowledgable about both life sciences, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. I also graduated with Highest Departmental Honors in my major along with earning College Honors from the UCLA Honors College. I like to teach in a way that is best suited to the individual in order to meet their demands. I have experience tutoring college-level classes along with MCAT tutoring for both the Chemical and Physical Foundations and Biological and Biochemical Foundations sections as well.
For me personally, seeing students grow and begin to make connections between subjects themselves is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I love helping other people learn and seeing people have that "ah-hah" moment when things start to make sense it the most enjoyable part of the job.
I have been tutoring since I was in the 7th grade and currently at UCLA I am a teaching assistant for a class in biomedical research where I explain and help deconstruct various research seminars and experimental designs.

Usually, I charge $40-50/hr depending on the subject being taught.
For MCAT tutoring I charge $60/hr and can assist in answering practice questions along with teaching material for the Chemistry/Physics and Biology/Biochemistry sections.
