About Sarah
I have worked with multiple college students tutoring chemistry, and with high school students in math and chemistry. I am a passionate academic who loves working with others to reach their full potential while catering to the specific needs and learning style of the person I am assisting.
I love to see a student reach their academic goals and interact with the material in a way that finally makes sense. I've seen many students come to me lacking confidence in a subject area, and leave our sessions feeling more comfortable to continue on with the subject, and often times even more excited to keep learning. My biggest goal is to increase confidence in a subject area because this can make all the difference in a testing setting.
I have trained and worked as a Supplemental Instruction TA in chemistry for the past 2 years at my college.

I begin by letting students bring up their needs, and we go from there. I tailor my sessions to a student's weak spots, and am always prepared to pivot from my plan because the students needs are the priority.
I have worked with college students in chemistry tutoring and high school students in math and chemistry.
