About Peyton
I'm a current college student with all the tips and tricks! Not only am I here to help with one or two problems, but I can help with techniques that you'll use time and time again in the future. I know how frustrating it is to not "get it" right away, but I'm here to make that process smoother! I was chosen to be a chemistry learning assistant my freshman year of college because I am good at retaining information and great at teaching it in many unique ways. I have been a tutor since 2015 and absolutely love seeing others accomplish their academic goals. Let's learn together!
I have been a tutor since 2015. I have a lot of experience with peers as well as underclassmen. I also took a course on teaching college coursework in the fall of 2019. I excelled in this course, learned techniques for teaching peers, and worked on ways to engage students in tough material (especially material they are not fond of). I don't teach because I have to, I teach because I love to!

My priority is you. I tailor my skills to your needs and develop a plan accordingly. I am prepared to answer questions, provide supplemental questions, and teach tools and tactics for absorbing material. Upon meeting a new student I like to ask a few questions about learning style and main goals and get right to the work. My goal is never to waste your time but teach you how to be more efficient with your time set aside for learning.

Details
I do not have a standard "rate," because every student is different. My base price is $12.00 per hour, but I would be happy to break that price down depending on the amount of time the student really needs.
