About Matthew
I have a Bachelor in Science in Biological Sciences from Biola University. I have a wide range of experience in biology and chemistry that equips me for tutoring, as well as having been a TA for college level chemistry and biology. I really want to help students to understand the topics. I really want students to understand what they are learning, not just to memorize facts. I hope that through tutoring people walk away with a greater appreciation for science and how it affects everything.
I have a B.S. in biology, my undergraduate work included 70 units of biology and chemistry and I finished with a 3.75 GPA. In high school I scored 4s on both AP Chemistry and AP Biology. I college I have taken and excelled at chemistry, biology, microbiology, organic chemistry, physiology, biochemistry, physics and more. I am really passionate about all of these topics and that makes me want to share it with students and help them to enjoy the topics too. I am currently applying to medical schools and have taken the MCAT.
