About Kyra
My goal is to help you succeed using tools and techniques tailored to your learning objective. After getting to know a little bit about you and your objectives we will come up with a reasonable and cohesive plan together to put you on the path to success.
Tutoring highlights some of the greatest parts of learning. I love seeing students gain confidence and intrigue through their learning journey.
I have college level teaching experience in both undergraduate and graduate teaching assistant positions for Western Washington University's BIOL 101 'Introdution to Biology' class. Every quarter I worked with students from all different backgrounds and majors. Through this experience I learned how to explain a breadth of science topics in numerous different ways that were tailored to each students learning style.

I like to start with getting to know my student and what their objectives are. In our first session we will create an agreed upon and cohesive plan to set them up for success. Every session will start with a debrief and review of the previous session before going into the content part of the session where we will work on the current learning objective. At the end of every session the student will be given a set of things to have done before the next session that is in line with the learning plan outlined in the very first session. As classes move along, I will check in with the student to evaluate progress, address new goals, and satisfaction with the style of tutoring and reassess the learning plan accordingly.

Consultation: $20
Consultation will be a 30-60 minute session to get to know the student and their learning goals. During this session, a cohesive learning plan will be created in accordance with the learning goals.
60-minute session: $25
90-minute session: $35
