About Kimberly
I have been a Biology and Chemistry teacher for 6 years. I am passionate about these subjects, but also know that students can find them particularly challenging. I try to go out of my way to help a student understand the material through extra practice and visuals to help them understand the concept to the best of their ability. I received my Bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University in Life Science and Chemistry Education. I then went on to receive my Master's in Life Science Education.
I enjoy seeing a student's face when they struggled to understand something and it all seems to click. It is a moment when they seem to have a resolution in their mind about how everything comes together.
I have a Bachelor's in Life Science and Chemistry Education. I also have a Master's in Life Science Education. I have taught Chemistry and Botany for 6 years. I have taught Biology and Zoology for 3 years.

I want to make sure I am helping the student understand the material by getting to know his or her likes and dislikes, favorite hobbies, etc. So that I can relate topics to those hobbies students find enjoyable. If they can understand that topic through an example outside of chemistry, it can be easier for them to understand it even applied to chemistry. I also try to figure out what type of learner they are so I can give them practice and tips particular to their learning style.
