About Camila
Hi! My name is Camila. I have a degree in biochemistry and a master0s degree in cellular biology. I love working with children and youngsters. I have a wide experience Teaching science related subjects as well as Spanish. Me and the families who I have worked for consider myself a responsible and trustworthy person, passionate about transmitting knowledge in the kindest way.
Nowadays I consider myself a person who loves what she does and cares that the students deeply understand the subjects of study. I encourage students to find their motivation and I prepare interactive and enjoyable lessons.
During my bachelor's I used to tutor chemistry, biology and physics to high school students. When I started my master's degree I began teaching immunology at the university. Now I'm back to doing tutoring because I really enjoy it.
I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in cellular biology. I love both science and teaching. I've been doing research and teaching science related subjects for three years.

On the one hand, my classes are always interactive. I understand that if the students wanted someone explaining the topic while they were taking notes they would watch a video on YouTube or read a book. I like to ask questions, make them think, do didactic and fun tasks. On the other hand, I always seek to relate what I have learned to real life situation.First, explain the concepts. Then, show examples where those concepts are applied, including examples of practice exercises if necessary. Then, give the student time to learn the concepts and understand the examples. Finally, ask the student to solve relevant problems or exercises.
I have worked with all types of students. I think that my way of teaching is quite flexible and I adapt easily to the needs of each student. For some students it is necessary to learn and understand the concepts in class. Then they prefer to do the exercises alone and the next class I will review the task with them. With others we have to focus more on solving the exercises in class because it is when solving relevant problems that they have the most difficulties.
