About George
With 6 years of experience teaching chemistry and AP psychology at the high school level, a B.S. in neuroscience and studio art, an M.A. in teaching, and an in-progress M.S. in cognitive neuroscience, I can say with absolute certainty that the only thing I love as much as learning is helping others to develop a passion and curiosity for the sciences.
Science can be difficult. Without motivation it can seem impossible to understand. My goal is not only to help you understand those difficult concepts, but to help you enjoy the process of learning.

As a public school teacher in NYC, I have experience with and enjoy working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels.
As a current student at the CUNY Graduate Center, my research interests include the neural basis of sensation and perception, human time perception, and the flow state of consciousness. (Feel free to ask me all about it!)
