About Abisola

I am a college graduate in biology with a minor in chemistry, so I understand how hard and overwhelming work can become. I used to struggle academically, but I learned about self-discipline and was able to do a 360! I was the President of Gamma Sigma Epsilon at Salem State University, which is a national chemistry honors society who recognizes students who have acheived academic excellence in chemistry courses. I am a first-time tutor and plan to do this for the years to come!

I enjoy knowing I am helping someone achieve their goal. Getting to the point where you can tell yourself, "I did it!" takes time and dedication. I know with my knowledge and dedication, I can help you get there!

I am a new tutor and I am very excited to start teaching!

I am a college graduate who studied biology with a minor in chemistry. I have taken a number science courses and did very well. I study and understand the material. I have mastered it. Therefore, I believe I have the ability to help others master the material also.

About the lesson

I am a new tutor. Students may email me at my google email: (concealed information) to schedule a tutoring session. In this email, students will be required to answer a few questions. I will respond back as soon as possible.

I have not worked with any students on the past, as I am a new tutor. However, every tutor had a starting point. I am excited to begin teaching!

I know its not easy to ask others for help, or to find the right person for help, but it doesn't hurt to try! You are not alone! The minute you seek help is one step closer to getting the grade you want in your class!

After being stuck at home due to COVID-19 quarantine, I realize I have a lot of skills and talents I wasn't aware of. Tutoring is one of them!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Sit down in a quiet environment and write down your strengths and weaknesses. Ask yourself these questions:

What is my goal for this class? What grade do I want to achieve? What grade is realistic for this class?

How can I improve my study habits?

How can I manage my time?
