About Enis

I graduated from SUNY University at Albany with a B.S. in Human Biology, cumulative GPA 3.83, Deans List every semester. I was a Pre-Med student who is currently in a gap year which I am using to solidify my application for the next cycle. My MCAT score is a 515, which is 91st percentile. I have tutoring experience at UAlbany for the classes of Biology 1 and 2, which I did for 3 years. I grew up in a background of science and medicine since my father is a dentist and my mother was a biology professor. I know what it takes to be successful as a pre-med student, or any of the other pre-healthcare tracks, so I can offer life advice along with academic support.

I received a B.S in Human Biology from SUNY University at Albany where I tutored in General Biology I & II for 3 years, and I have experience working in the emergency department as a medical scribe.

About the lesson

For every student, I introduce myself and get to know the student briefly before we jump into the material. It's important for me to gauge the student's current knowledge of foundational concepts by asking a few preliminary questions of their experience and academic record so far. If the student has specific questions that need to be answered, I will break down their questions into simpler form and provide details in a way that makes sense to them. If a student needs help making a lesson plan, I can provide the steps necessary to properly encoding the information to memory so that they learn it once, correctly, and move on to other subjects or material.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should first attempt to work through any issues they have with a certain idea, concept, or material, to ensure that they have qualified questions when given time with a tutor or teacher. This helps avoid wasting time during a session, and helps you learn how to figure out your own weaknesses and strenghts.

Details

I charge $40/hour for my time. If a student only needs help for less than that time, then I will only bill for the time used. All payments will be conducted through PayPal invoices.
