About Dana
I am a High School Biology teacher with a background in marine science and ecology. I have worked both in the formal teaching setting and informal. I am able to help students understand complicated processes that they may be struggling with in class and how to write lab reports that will impress their teacher. I am also recieveing my Master's in Education and have experience working with ELL students.

I like to sit with the student and see where their strengths lie and where they are struggling. Then we spend time on each section they struggle in until they've reached the understanding that the teacher and the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework require them to. I'm not looking for them to memorize vocabulary, but to see that they have a deeper understanding in order to carry them through the course and beyond.
