About Evie
Biology is the exploration of the world around us from macro to micro. I aim to imporove your or your childs understanding of this world through by teaching with excitement and love for the subject.
I started teaching when some of my freshman year biology classmates asked me for help in explaining photosynithsis and I feel in love with watching them understand the concept and have been tutoring on and off since.
I have
- Worked fulltime in high stress child care
- Achieved a 5 on the AP biology exam
-Interned at Pfizer to expand my biology repetoire
- Won scientific journalism award for my writing on horizontal gene transfer in fungi through conidial anastomosis tubes
