About Brooke
Bachelor Degree from Michigan State University.
Starting medical school in 2021.
Expert in all science subjects K-College Level.
Extremely profficent in history, social studies, government and geography.
I will help students acheive their educational goals by creating a personalized session for their specific learning needs and type of teaching they learn best in. For example, if a student learns best with visuals, I will make sure our sessions include more diagrams and charts. I started tutoring in 8th grade at Kumon: Math and Reading. Since then, I have tutored K-12 and college level students one-on one in various subject matters ranging from Anatomy to U.S. History.

I enjoy investing my time into helping others. It is why I am going to medical school to be a physician. I have always enjoyed participating in community service and helping others as well as teaching others. All of my life, I have done extremely well in school, graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and college with a 3.9 GPA. I love teaching and helping others understand materials they may need assistance with.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University. I was a pre-med student in college and will be beginning medical school in 2021. Therefore, I am extremely well versed in the science disciplines. Also, I was extremely into history, government, and social studies throughout high school and did exceptionally well in these subjects.
I have worked at Kumon: Math and Reading as a tutor and mentor. I have also tutored individual students in various subjects, such as chemistry, biology, physiology, psychology, anatomy, pre-calc, AP US history, and American government.

Generally, I like to meet with the student and try to figure out in the first meeting what the best way the student learns, whether it is visual such as diagrams, taking notes, listening, etc. From there, I will develop a personalized tutoring strategy to work with each student.
