About Toya
2 The Rescue was founded in 2009 by Toya Rambo, LPN. We have a passion for teaching the community to save a life one person at a time. We specialize in BLS for Healthcare providers. Toya has experience in home health care, LTC, in and out of facility emergency medical services. We have had the real life experices that can be shared with our classes to ensure they have the best experince possible. 2 The Rescue has new updated equipment to help students ensure they are performing the skills of high quality CPR correctly. In 2003 I have a uncle pass away from a massive heart attack. There were individuals present in the home that could have possible helped him, however they had no CPR training or general knowledge. This prompted me to research and begin my journey as a CPR Trainer.
I have worked in healthcare over 25 years. I started as a phlebotomist 2000, obtained my CNA license 2005. I then obtained a degree in health administration 2007. I work in LTC administration prior to going to Nursing school. My true passion is education. I enjoy give the world my contribution by teaching healthcare providers how to run a successful emergency medical code and save lives.

New Students will take the full BLS course. Students will have a hands on instructor, American Heart Association approved Video leads the class. During the class students have hand on practice with the appoved AHA equipment. This will ensure new and all student have proper training in high quality CPR.
I have worked in the Aurora/Denver metro community for over 10 years. I have worked with multiple cultures, professions, and age groups.
I would recommend a CPR trainer with experience. location is important. Ensure that the class you need and qualify for is available/being offered.
I had a class of students that speak english as a 2nd language. The test was extremly difficult for them due to it being written in english. I chose to read the questions out loud to them and they all pass with no issues.

What type of CPR card do you need?
Is your card expired or still current?
Do you have your book from the previous class 2 years prior? More than likely you can use the same book and save.
