About Malina
Womens health, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, & medicine are passions of mine. I take health and nutrition seriously and enjoy sharing knowledge with others. Helping others understand these specific niches of medicine is enormously important. To begin, I like to assess where the student is at with their knowledge base and learning style. Then, start to dive in and teach each student in the way they prefer to learn!
I was a labor and delivery RNC-EFM for 6 years, and recently transitioned to the role of Gestational Diabetes Educator at a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic.
I graduated with my BSN in 2015 and hold several certifications; ACLS, BLS, RN, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, NCC-EFM
I've always loved teaching, and wanted to end up pursuing education related to my field of work. To teach what I love is an absolute dream. The midwives I worked for previously, offered me a position as an educator and I jumped at the opportunity.
I worked in the hospital as a staff nurse for 4 years, and as a travel nurse for 2.5 years. I mainly worked in labor and delivery, but obtained plenty of experience in antepartum, postpartum, and general women's PACU. I currently work as a gestational diabetes educator for a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic.
