About Isabella

Hi, I'm Isabella! I am a high-achieving Biomedical Science student at Lancaster University (having completed my second year) with an upcoming NHS laboratory placement starting in September.

My Experience: I have over a year of experience tutoring students of all abilities, alongside a fully up-to-date Enhanced DBS check.

Academic Background A-Levels: A* A* A in Biology, Chemistry, and French GCSEs: Nine grade 9s (achieved despite the challenges of the pandemic)

My Interests: Human biology, disease study, and drug discovery.

My Approach: I genuinely love teaching all aspects of biology because I believe it is a truly fascinating subject. My goal is to share that passion with my students while helping them build confidence and improve their grades.

About the lesson

Because I am currently immersed in the education system myself, I can connect with students in a way that older tutors often can't, sharing tips and tricks that truly resonate. Whether you're preparing for high-stakes exams or just looking to strengthen your understanding of biology, I am here to help you achieve your goals and build confidence through an individualized teaching style tailored to you.

Interactive Activities & Quizzes: Keeping lessons engaging so you actually look forward to them.

Real-Life Analogies: Breaking down complex scientific concepts into easy-to-understand pieces.

Context & Purpose: Showing you why what you're learning matters in the real world—because understanding the purpose of the knowledge makes recall much easier!
