Josh is helping me with my college algebra class (MAC1105) he is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in algebra. Goes over problems and explains well how to complete the problem but also understand it as well as giving you opportunity to complete the problems and ask questions while going over them. I have always been a below average math student, but since I have been tutored by Josh I have begun to understand math in ways I never had before. Josh explains complex concepts in a way that allows his students to grasp the INTENT of the concepts. It is this intent that allows the language of math to be better understood than with other tutors. Josh simplifies and streamlines concepts in a way that allows his students to succeed in complex math without getting bogged down in minutiae. However, at any point if a student is curious about the intricacies, Josh has the answer. I have never been happier with purchase and will always use Josh if he is available.

Doing online school while working a full time job can be stressful especially doing 8 week calculus courses. Its been a great experience to have Josh as my tutor before I enter college. It is obvious his pleasure in math, and teaching as well. Josh is well rounded in all math topics. He really helped me get a thorough foundation and understanding in Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus. I have always struggled with not understanding the way teachers conveyed math topics through their own single explanation. With everything Josh covers, he understands each topic from a few different angles and can explain them in different ways. Sometimes the way he explains something doesn’t totally click with me, but he will convey the idea in a different way that I understand with my learning style. I think Josh works well with all learning styles because of his ability to convey math topics in many different ways.

He helped me a lot in Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. He was the only person that helped me to understand the concept of natural logs. Considering that my first language is Spanish, he managed very well to understand my English. Josh Greenberg is one of the best tutors you will ever find. He discusses the class material with lots of knowledge and explains the topics clearly and in a way that it is very easy to understand. He’s expertise on almost every math subject has helped me pass every test I’ve taken. He is also very lighthearted and funny, which makes the class time pass quickly.

I highly recommend Josh as a tutor. 10 out of 10. Josh is a gifted teacher. Not just qualified or talented, but gifted. He has worked extensively with my 17 year old son to help him with algebra and also help him prepare for his SAT math sections. Josh adapts his teaching methods to my son's needs. Where other tutors would often lecture and show and tell, Josh, on the other hand, has my son try every aspect of a concept and formula to make sure he knows it. Other teachers would explain a problem and ask my son, "You understand? You got that?" My son would invariably say he does, and he even believed he did UNTIL he tried to do it himself and realize he didn't fully understand it. Josh makes sure my son tries every aspect of a math problem on his own and that has made all the difference. I have also noticed that Josh has carefully build a relationship of trust between himself and my teenaged son which keeps them working well together.
