About Diana
I bring a customized approach to each student by evaulating their progress and performance regularly. There is never a one size fits all when it comes to learning. I have experience in AP classes, IB classes, and College level courses. From these experiences I have been able to cater different study strategies depending on the type of class and subject and my goal is to be able to share knowledge with those I tutor. I maintained straight A's throughout high school, received the IB Diploma, and earned numerous academic awards from high school in Spanish, World History, and Visual Art.
I find the work I do to be incredibly satisfying, fun, but challenging. Not only do I see the students improve, but I'm growing as an educator along side them. This would be my first paid tutoring job, but I'm excited to take my past experiences to a higher level.

My goal is to encourage students to really take responsibility for their own education. I start by asking them about their goals and what they want to get our of our sessions. After that I help them by developing an academic schedule. This helps us keep track of progress and build good habits. This includes homework, studying, instruction, and even sleep schedule. This will help me get to know the student as an individual and how I can best help them succeed in any area.
