About Jamie

Over 30 years experience of teaching: Drama, Acting; speech pathology, musical theatre; character and scene development.

I enjoy my job very much. I started out as as Performer in theatre, tv and film. My production company lead me into the education sector. I wrote the drama curriculum for schools in Hong Kong. Sharing first hand experiences to inspire and develop techniques and confidence, whilst striving to reach and achieve goals.

My Father was a teacher and I have naturally been a team leader. So part genetic and part passion. I was teaching Drama to children, as an assistant teacher when I was 18 years old. 2003 became the year I focused on education. I was living in Hong Kong (during SARS) and had to reevaluate my sistuation.

My education and work backgrounds both reflect my passions of teaching acting.

I have spent the past 30 year in the industry as working practitioner.

About the lesson

Student will have a structured lesson fitted to the level of the student ability.

I have worked with all ages.

Infants: 18 months creative moment

Children: primary 1 to 7

adults: Professors and PHD scholars.

My advice would be, what do you want to get out of the class?
Then find a teacher who can help reach your goal.

I just finished producing a webseries for talent in London. Helped talent with concept, visual, art design, presentation, voice, edits and script.

They should related to the task, project, slide.
