About Jordan

I've been living in Seattle for over 5 years and one of my passions is to create a professional acting environment where artsists get paid.

I can help with:

About Me:

I am currently the Seattle Director of American Immersion Theater and the Murder Mystery Company. This company specializes in audience focused, interactive entertainment. We have our own method of actor training that focuses on character creation and being able to interact and have fun with the audience. We also do a good amount of improvisation in our shows.

I have also done some film/voice over work and am represented by TCM Models and Talent. While with TCM, I have done several commercials and have taken many acting classes with casting directors Nike Imoru, Jodi Rothfield, and Amy Reney Casting. With this experience, I hope to help actors improve their professionalism through working on the audition process, resume, and headshot critiques. I also have the ability to film you so you can do a scene or monologue and look at your performance yourself.

I also have a degree in theatre and a Virginia State teaching licence in K-12 theatre education.

I feel like I am a good resource for begining to intermediate level actors who are looking to learn about what it's like to be a professional actor and to improve upon techniques or to just get some fresh eyes on your scene work.

I love acting and the process of entertaining people. I've been acting since I was 11 years old and I love to share my experiences with other people. I also want to help keep building up the acting community in Seattle because the better we all are, the better projects that can come our way.

I worked on my teaching license while in college and did some substitute work for theatre teachers after graduation. When I became director of the Seattle troupe of American Immersion Theatre (AIT) I also became responsible for training my actors on the AIT method.

About the lesson

I would like to get to know my students by having them performe a memorized monologue and we would also do some cold-reads together. I also like to sit down with them and figure out their goals and what their looking for from the professional acting industry, if anything.

I've worked with varying actors ranging from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.

I consider myself a good resource for begining to intermediate actors. My advice is to always come with an open mind and be willing to take critiques. I'm not a dictator type of teacher and I like to work with people that enjoy discussing the craft of acting and are honestly just looking to improve themselves.

I've done over 500 shows with AIT and the reason why I've never gotten tired of doing shows is how you're able to connect with people. Our shows focus on the audience and we'll make them suspects in a murder mystery and my favorite thing is to see a "shy" person break out into a wonderful performance that surprises their family and coworkers. I often have people coming up to me after shows just in awe of how we were able to get so many people to participate in the production and there's not much better than that.
