absolutely everything. I am in truth an introvert, however, the process allows me to connect with people on a level other than 'small talk' and in this realm I am able to communicate on a much deeper level than most instructors are able, or in my opinion, care too.
I most enjoy watching peoples perspective evolve, and with it, their work improve along with their confidence level, their joy in not only their work, but in all aspects of their lives. I enjoy helping people find fulfillment and being witness to the changes this brings about.
Anyone that works with me is familiar with me flying out of my chair with a loud 'CLAP' and a big hug at the end of a truthful exercise or scene read. Familiar as well with me silently weeping as someone touches the truth of their pain in the moment and allows us to experience it through them. I more than enjoy this process, this work that I do, it fulfills me.
I started with producing events for other instructors and found after a time that I was actually a better instructor when it came to acting. I have always enjoyed the process of watching people learn and apply that new knowledge and the confidence that it brings.
I am a local actor with 14 years experience, short and feature films under my belt, as well as network televison roles.

We begin with a free audit during which the students goals are discussed, my services explained, and I have the student do one exercise for me which allows me to make some determinations as to what their perspective is on the craft. Then the work begins.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
.. I always find that the important questions that need to be answered are discovered in the journey itself.
I think a big one when it comes to acting is finding someone that knows how to connect you to your work through your own perspective.. rather than merely reminding one of technique. Acting training requires a true teacher.. not merely someone that knows the ABC's of technique.

Working each week is just that 'work' and it means that I am working all of the acting muscles I need to then be comfortable on set. I'm confident taking direction and notes and immediately bringing them into the scene.
I get lots of working time in class. I have learned a lot as an actor and been able to really grow as an actor in this class. I highly recommend taking these classes if you want to be a better actor, no matter what level you're at.
